Want to know in detail what's inside each course?

Let’s start with the first course:

Course #1: Case Structuring
How to develop custom frameworks for any case question
In this training, I’ll walk you through my advanced system to build custom issue trees, regardless of the business situation or the industry.

This course comes with a straightforward, no-frills workbook and video training, where I walk you through how to build issues trees that won’t leave out important components of the problem.

And this advanced system works for all standard case studies such as market entry, profitability, M&A, and for more exotic case prompts such as…

Your client is a fictional country. They want to develop a plan to fight climate change. How would you help them with this question? (McKinsey

Or:

The CEO of a cement company contacted you because for the last 3y the company has not performed well from both sales and profit perspective. He tells you that the company is going through a Company transformation, and they are looking at the sales team. He would like you to choose one person from the sales team and give him a reward. How would help the CEO with this matter? (Bain & Company)

Here’s just a fraction of what you’ll learn:

Start a case interview on the right foot by asking the appropriate clarifying questions. Also, I’ll show you the mistakes some candidates make at the beginning of a case study and how to avoid making the same mistakes (some lead to rejection).

How to organize your thoughts quickly during a case interview. No frameworks to learn by heart here. But a rigorous, step-by-step method to develop rock-solid MECE issue trees fast.

The step-by-step instructions about how to deal with case questions you have no expertise in (for instance, Operations or Public Sector cases).

What to do when you get stuck. I'll show you how to quickly build your own compass to know for sure which issues are missing or which issues need further development to solve the problem.

And Much, Much More!

Go through this training, and you’ll know how to build custom issue trees for any case question. You’ll never be stuck staring at a blank page wondering what to do because I’m giving you a tried and true, vigorously tested system that just works.

Building MECE issue trees is only the tip of the iceberg because you’re also getting…
Course #2: Case Leadership
How to prioritize the critical analyses to be performed
Read this. It’s important.

Like real-world consulting projects, case interviews must be solved quickly.

Think about this for a minute.

A case interview lasts 30 minutes on average.

You want to spend every minute with your interviewers impressing them and only digging into the most impactful issues…and not discussing the irrelevant components of the problem.

That’s why investigating each bucket of your issue tree in chronological order must be avoided.

This is very inefficient (and not consulting-friendly).

Instead:

The issues that must be further developed and analyzed must be chosen carefully.

In this training, I’ll show you how to identify the 20% of issues that solve 80% of the overall problem.

 In this course, you’ll discover:

How to use the Pareto (aka 80/20) rule in case interviews. I’ll show you the five (and only five) techniques you need to know to identify which buckets of your issue trees must be analyzed and which ones must be left out.

You’ll learn how to use data to prioritize issues.

When data are unavailable, you’ll learn how to use qualitative information to prioritize issues (this is super easy and will impress interviewers).

I’ll show you when during a case interview (and how) it makes sense to use these techniques (hint: almost always).

Plenty of examples to put these must-know techniques into practice right away.

And Much, Much More!

According to my ten years of coaching candidates, the lack of prioritization is probably the second cause of rejection after the lack of structure.

So, after this course, you’ll stand out ahead of the competition and avoid the embarrassing situation of an interviewer telling you to end the case because you are running out of time.

After you have learned how to prioritize the most important issues to analyze, you'll be ready for the third course.
Course #3: Case Analytics
How to solve the case with the right analyses
Imagine this:

Roberto has a second-round interview at McKinsey.

The interviewer shares the case prompt: a profitability case.

"Hooray!!!" Robert thinks.

“An easy case! Building a structure will be child's play!" he continues thinking.

Three days after this interview, Roberto received an e-mail informing him that he would not advance to the next round.

What happened?

Case interviews require candidates to perform mathematical and quantitative analyses, interpret results, and develop insights and recommendations without using a calculator or spreadsheet.

And the quantitative rating is a critical factor in a candidate's overall rating (around 25%).

Thus, poor performance in quantitative questions can reduce the chances of receiving an offer.

That’s where this course comes in.

 In this course, you’ll get:

The mental and quantitative skills you need to succeed in case interviews. You’ll learn how to perform at your best when solving quantitative case interview questions. Besides, you'll grasp the most common mistakes for failing a math question.

How to add business colors (and therefore stand out) when dealing with quantitative questions.

What you MUST do before and after calculating numbers in EVERY Math question. You’ll know what the standard books and methods do not tell you about the quantitative aspect of case interviews.

How to turn data into insights. Remember this: data have no value; The interpretation of these data (aka the insights) has value. I’ll show you how to interpret data even if you are not a quant person.

And Much, Much More!

In a stressful situation like case interviews with high-paying jobs at stake, many candidates may be confused or intimidated by all the data, graphs, and charts to analyze.

As an interviewer, I once saw a candidate - a graduate of one of Europe's top three engineering universities - staring at a chart for 3 long minutes without saying a word.

This course will help you confidently and easily navigate the case interview analyses to demonstrate outstanding quantitative skills.

And finally, this leads to the last course:
Course #4: Communication
How to communicate clearly your thought process
You can be the best problem-solver in the world.

But:

You won't get offers if you can’t explain what’s in your head.

In this training, I’ll walk you through how to communicate clearly and concisely your case structures, insights, and recommendations.

This course is for you if you sometimes get lost in details or feel your communication lacks structure. Here’s what’s inside:

The top-down communication principle used by consultants when they communicate their ideas. You will learn the ins and outs of this principle and how, when, and why to use it in case interviews.

Exactly what you should say to keep interviewers engaged during the entire interview.

The three most common mistakes candidates make in communication.

My best communication frameworks to always know what to say next and avoid repeating “uh” during interviews (this gives a terrible impression to interviewers).

And Much, Much More!

You probably already know this:

Turn an interview into a conversation, and you’ll get an offer.

That means you have to discuss ideas, brainstorm ideas, and present problem trees… without really thinking about them.

It should not sound like a job interview.

It should sound natural.

It should sound like a discussion between two consultants solving a case.

Watch this training video, and you’ll know instantly if you need to change something about your communication in case interviews and how to do it.

And on top of it all, you’re also getting…
A Mystery Bonus
I won’t tell you what it is, but I’ll give you a hint:

It will significantly increase your chance of passing the screening phase at your dream company.

This Mystery Bonus is legitimately worth $300, and you can’t get it anywhere else.
There is no catch

Who is presenting this training?

Sébastien Ritter is the founder of careerinconsulting.com. Since 2011, Sébastien has helped over 300 candidates from various backgrounds (undergraduates, MBA students, professionals, PhDs) get offers from top-tier consulting firms. In 2022, Sébastien partnered with five former MBB Consultants and Recruiters to offer a new revolutionary coaching program.

Here's what other people have to say:

"Before being coached by Sébastien, I struggled to build solid issue trees. I've read all the classics, watched dozens of YouTube videos, and done around 20 cases with peers. But my frameworks always looked the same, regardless of the case prompt or the industry. I felt that something was missing, and I would hit a wall. That's when I signed up for Sébastien's coaching program. And within ten days, I could confidently develop tailored MECE issue trees for any case questions! If you've been frustrated by organizing your thoughts in a structured manner, I can't recommend Sébastien's coaching program enough."

MBA Candidate Hired By McKinsey

“I can say without reservation that if you work with Sébastien, you will be fully prepared for your interviews. You’ll have someone with you to perform at your best throughout the entire hiring process and get amazing results. I got an offer from McKinsey, BCG, Bain & Company, as well as smaller boutiques.”

Experienced Professional Hired By BCG

“I couldn’t have received an offer from Bain without Sébastien. I think the most valuable part was helping me think about how I wanted to present myself in my fit interviews. He teased out stories, experiences, and qualities that were unique to me and helped me articulate those. When you work with him, it's very apparent that he’s a talented coach.”
